Under the supervision of Manager Capacity Building the SPO Capacity Building (C.B) will be responsible for following tasks:

 

  • To assist Director/ Manger CBU in 3-6 days trainings manuals on Project Management, Advocacy, Right to Information, Performance Management Plans, Strengthening Citizens’ Voice and Public Accountability Mechanism, Leadership, Governance, Monitoring and Evaluation etc.
  • Help in the design, development, implementation of Capacity Building activities for civil society organizations, training especially with the reporting line to Manger Capacity Building (MCB-Unit).
  • Keep the record and facilitate the team and consultants in CBU activities.
  • Communicates and liaises closely and frequently with project partners for the effective implementation of the trainings program. 
  • Management of budgets, expenditures, expenditures projections related to assigned Task.
  • Identify training needs, suggest topics, prepare lesson plans and develops trainings courses and curriculums under the directions of MCBU. 
  • Write reports and maintain the data base in a timely manner.
  • Record the data on GMIS on monthly basis. 
  • Advice to MCBU on strategy and programs implementation, achieve project deliverables working with the project team.
  • Undertake other any task/assignments as directed by the Director Capacity Building and Organizational development or Manager Capacity Building Unit

Job Specification

Qualification Required:

Masters in Social Sciences

Experience Required:

7+ year in development sector; working with National and International Organizations

Computer/other skills required:

Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel (spreadsheets) and PowerPoint and excellent Typing and Report Writing skills.

Any other preference:

Past working experience on USAID funded project
