USAID Power Distribution Program (PDP) is providing assistance to the government owned Power Distribution Companies of Pakistan (DISCOs), with the aim to curtail losses, enhance revenues and have a well regulated power distribution system in Pakistan.  PDP’s assistance, in its current phase, is geared towards Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) and Peshawar Electric Power Company (PESCO) and will end in Septmber 2015

Relevant Experience:

  •  0-2 years of experience in administration, HR, Finance or  related field
  • A minimum of Bachelors degree in management/HR/ Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field is required.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written expression and interpersonal skills are required
  • Proficiency  is required for MS Office applications mainly MS Word and Excel
  • The ideal candidate would be someone with exceptionally good organizing abilities, attention to detail and with an ability to work in a multicultural team environment.

Job Description:

Specific assignments of the position will be as under,

  • Collaboration with teams to ensure the coordination of closeout activities.
  • Assist the various departments within USAID Power Distribution program for effective closing out of their respective documentation
  • Regular job tasks will include following up with relevant members of the technical teams/employees for completion of project documents/employee documents
  • Categorizing, scanning and filing of documents on the shared drive as well as in hard files
  • Providing progress report on completion status to supervisor or his/her designee by the end of each week
  • Ensures compliance with contract closeout provisions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Note: Project end date is until Sept, 2015
