Manager Health Services

Job Summary:

This position reports to Head of Health Services and is primarily responsible to execute health services operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure network expansion and performance as per guidelines.
• Allocate training targets at regional level and ensure achievement.
• Supervise execution of work plans by field visits and observing various health services related processes.
• Supervise and ensure quality and compliance of guidelines.
• Plan, allocate and control regional budgets and expenses.
• Recruitment, development and retention of quality staff complying with hiring criteria and ensuring high quality of manpower.
• Implementation of the induction plans of AMHS
• Train the Trainers for capacity building and conduct on the job training for field staff.
• Maintain strong liaison with internal stakeholders for smooth execution of plans and field activities.
• Timely reporting of data/information from the field to Head Office and management reporting while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, credibility and integrity of data and reports.
• Ensure compliance of organizational policies/procedures and systems at regional level.

Job Specifications:

• MBBS with related experience in reproductive health
• Masters Degree in Public Health/Maternal and Child health is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the capacity of Manager in reputable organization
• Clinical experience in Family Planning Services would be considered as an added advantage
• Excellent problem solving, communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite and MS Outlook
