 REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • University degree in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy or Allied subjects
  • Degree in public health an asset
  • 4 years of post-graduate work experience
  • Humanitarian work experience an asset
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Urdu; at minimum basic Pashto;
  • Very good computer skills [Microsoft Office]
  • Analytical and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment and profound understanding of Pakistan's health institutions both at Federal and Provincial level
  • Ability to perform academic work


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support and advise to the Health Coordination
  • Maintain contacts with interlocutors and authorities at federal and field level
  • Contribute to assessments, monitoring and implementation and running of health programmes
  • Contribute to written reporting
  • Proactive, motivated, sense of responsibility, organizational skills, ability to take initiative and to work independently according to objective rather than job description
  • Ability to liaise and represent the ICRC with authorities and other organizations/institutions/ministries as well as communities and individuals
  • Flexibility to travel.
