General Background & Position Description:

This position will involve consistently working in a supportive manner reporting to the PDP MEPCO Team Administrator to provide administrative support for the PDP team members assigned to the MEPCO PDP office in Multan, Pakistan. 

Relevant Experience:

The candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Bachelors degree
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Computer and Administrative skills
  • He/she must be able to prepare documents and memorandums to provide clear information to both local and headquarter officers on administrative matters.

Job Description:

The on-site MEPCO PDP Team Administrative Assistant will perform and accomplish the below stated duties to the highest quality and standards, and will perform the tasks including the following:

  • Filing, scanning, faxing, as well as typing specific documentation
  • Responsible for coordinating incoming and outgoing mails
  • Prepare general correspondence with PDP and MEPCO staff as required
  • Assist all teams for arranging MEPCO related trainings
  • Vehicle scheduling for all staff members (within/outside Multan)
  • Assist communication team for their public awareness programs
  • Deal with vendors as required
  • Assist office staff in the absence of Admin Officer
  • Handle petty cash in the absence of Admin Officer
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain office filing and storage systems
  • Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists of PDP and Senior Management of MEPCO
  • Co-ordinate and organize appointments and meetings in conference hall
  • Assist with event planning and implementation for all teams in Multan
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor
