Job Title:                      Business Incubation Centre (BIC) Officer

Karakoram Area Development Organization (KADO), a non-profit organization, invites CVs from qualified persons, for the mentioned job title under the project “Enhancing Employability of Marginalized Segments in GB through IT”. The project is supported by the TVET Reform Support Programme, which is co-funded by the European Union, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany and being implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaftfür Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in collaboration with NAVTTC.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences preferably in business or IT.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Experience of online earning/internet based job market.

Job Description:

  • Guide and facilitate the graduated trainees in online earning opportunities, job hunting, responding to clients, completing the task, insuring quality and timely submission.
  • Identify online and offline potential employers locally, nationally and internationally and link the graduates with them
  • Collect online job market information for the graduates regarding job openings, entry and skills requirements and other occupational information
  • Placement of the graduates with different online and offline paid assignments and/or jobs and ensure its timely submission.
  • Maintain documentation and database of potential employers and all the tasks undertaking by the graduates.
  • Mobilize all the graduates to fully utilize the facilities and use their skills for their own earning purposes in the BIC
  • Coordinate between the relevant trainers and the graduates to address the emerging issues faced by the graduates in completing any online task/job.
  • Arrange refresher sessions for the graduates through the trainers and/or other sources which can be helpful to further polish the skills of the graduates.
  • Keep track of all the trainees and document all the tasks/jobs done and best practices in the BIC
  • Coordination with the placement officer and M&E team and provide them all the required information and data as and when required.
