Relevant Experience:

 

  • 3 years of work experience working with communities on sustainable livelihoods projects preferably in Tailoring & Embroidery skill development
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience of working in communities and ability to work with diverse groups of people

Job Description:

  • Conducting Needs Assessment Survey in Refugee Camps and local host communities for identification and selection of female beneficiaries for Livelihood trainings
  • To organize meetings with community members to identify potential participants for skill training programs in refugees camps and local host community.
  • Mobilize communities for carrying out the project activities
  • To design course curricula for Tailoring and Embroidery courses in coordination with  Dress Designer and training instructors for training courses
  • In close coordination with Job Placement Officer, develop linkages with boutiques/garment stores to link trainees for products sale
  • To conduct orientation sessions with trainers and course participants on skill training program
  • Maintain coordination with Project Manager & Field Coordinator  to ensure all supply request related to the project activities are done timely and according to procedures
  • Keep and maintain record of the inventory, attendance, results in training centers
  • Provide data to Project Assistant in preparing weekly and monthly monitoring reports on a given timelineand provide inputs for quarter report on the achievements of the project and the lessons learnt
  • Conduct evaluation of the performance of training instructors and the result of the training programs; make recommendations to enhance the efficiency of the training
  • Conducting regular field visits to verify quality /progress of Livelihood Program interventions provide technical guidance and advice to training instructors
  • Guide and supervise training course instructors and trainees
  • Conduct evaluation of the training performance and the compliance with training objectives, procedures and technical requirements
  • Analyze, summarize, compile and submit reports to the PM of training result/outcomes
  • Perform periodical review and final assessment process for trainees as to their results of training
  • Any other task assigned by Chief Executive
