Relevant Experience & Education: MBBS from HEC recognized institution. 2-3 Years relevant experience in Health Sector.
Job Description:
- Responsible for providing health facilities to IDPs and Local Community.
- Provide consultation, treatment and referral for basic health problems such as ARI, malaria, fever, family planning, antenatal, and postnatal care through skilled medical practitioners;
- Provide safe delivery kits to pregnant women;
- working with other doctors as part of a team, either in the same department or within other specialties
- Improved or maintained health of conflict-affected internally displaced persons in Peshawar.
- Monitor diseases through the disease early warning system (DEWS);
- Train and distribute contraceptive methods in line with MISP.
- Deploy MMCs and provide DEWs report on weekly basis that will monitor disease trends.
- Examining and talking to patients to diagnose their medical conditions;
- Liaising with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality treatment.
- Promoting health education.
- Provision of Antenatal care and clean delivery kits to women and men
- Two MMCs will be deployed for 7 months based on urgent needs to at least 18 camps per month to provide basic healthcare services.
- Family planning counselling and commodities distributed to women and men
- Prescribing appropriate drugs.
- Make sure that the patients must be IDPs and from local Communities.
- Keep close coordination with Health Unit, Colleagues, Dispensers, Facilitators, as well as with local Communities.
- Ensure timely completion of Project activities in an appropriate way.
- Coordinate with District Health authorities for identification of Union.
- Coordinate calendar of MHUs with local district officials and community mobilisers.
- Create a referral system for complicated cases.
- Distribute free medicines through MHUs
- Keep the record of patients and report to the project Manager.
- Provide full support to patients.
- Keep coordination with WHO, Health Department as well as project Team.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
