Terms of Reference

  • Work under the supervision of IT Work Stream Leader for implementation of hardware, software and network in FSIFDA and Agency Head Quarters as per the timelines communicated through the Project Plan
  • Provide IT staffing support to assist users in usage of existing and new hardware and software
  • Maintenance of IT hardware, software and network of FS/FDA/Agency Headquarters/Project Office.
  • Running a service desk for day-to-day support and maintenance processes of Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration management and Release Management
  • Prepare IT Documentation according to the project plan and as directed by IT Work Stream Leader/Director IT
  • Provide incident management support through initial support, Investigation and diagnosis, Resolution and recovery, Incident Closure and Ownership, monitoring tracking
  • and communication
  • Excellent knowledge of HP ProLiant based servers hardware and rack deployment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 2003/2003 R2/2008 server and client technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of SNMP,DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, SMTP, VOIP NAT and network related technologies such as LAN/WAN topologies, transports and routing
  • Strong understanding, management and configuration of network equipment such as CISCO/JUNIPER
  • Installing, configuring and troubleshoot Operating systems like windows, linux and unix
  • Troubleshoot network LAN, WAN problems
  • Work independently and with team members and vendors to troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of system and network management tool concepts
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Accomplishes task with minimal supervision.
  •  Excellent written and oral communication skills
