PURPOSE OF POSITION

The position shall be responsible implementation of Education Project by providing the necessary leadership, technical assistance and daily management of staff under the guidance of the ADM and technical manager. Areas of focus include planning, accountability, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and reporting of project activities. 

Major Accountabilities:

  • Develop detailed implementation plan for the project reflecting required tasks, timeframe for implementation, financial requirements and task assignments.
  • Coordination with social mobilization team and providing program orientation at community level
  • Guide and promote professional development of the staff through in service training and training courses for updating and up-grading the technical skills of project staff.
  • Develop and establish better linkages and collaboration with INGOs/NGOs, Government departments and other stakeholders in the area to get useful information for improved program implementation. Participation in relevant meetings, forums, activities that will create awareness about the project.
  • With the approval of ADM represent WV Pakistan and its Programme at professional meetings, workshops and conferences that are deemed useful to WVP.
  • Actively participate in the preparation and conduct of monitoring and evaluation activities and needs assessment surveys within the implementation areas.
  • Document and submit timely financial reports, field reports, periodic progress reports on project activities to immediate supervisor following required reporting guidelines approved by WVP
  • Understand and incorporate child protection policy into all sectors of work
  • Close coordination with finance, procurement and administration to ensured smooth and timely payment of the vendor/shops to be the CP program

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Masters in social science fields or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Significant proven experience in project management, Reporting, conflict management, financial management, procurements, project analysis, planning, and monitoring and evaluation.
  • Ability to carry through projects from conception to completion
  • Ability to work alone and as a part of the team
  • Effective interpersonal skills
