Program Officer- Public Private Partnership (PPP)

An international non-governmental organization (INGO) is seeking to hire Program Officer-Public Private Partnership (PPP) for its Community Mobilization Program in Sindh (CMP). The PPP Program Officer will support CMPs work in relation to the development of Education Management Organizations and maximize gifts in kind support for public sector schools/institution. S/He will report to the Advisor for Education Governance and Management and will provide technical support and assistance of supplementing the efforts to create and establish outsourced public private partnership management for schools. He will be assisting in the preparation of reviews of current outsourced management interventions and collecting lessons learned. Ability to organize round-table conferences dedicated to identifying and establishing a pool of private sector, donor and/or other potential partners and prospects for maximizing gifts-in kind/additional financial support for public sector schools. In close coordination with the advisor, conduct trainings on transparency, performance measurement and accountability. This position will be based in Karachi and will require travel in different locations of Sindh province.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• Masters in Business Administration/Education or similarly relevant degree
• Minimum five years of experience in social services sector
• Minimum three years’ experience of outreach/marketing activities preferable involving CSR tasks
• High competency in spoken and written English

Desirable:

• Experience of working with bi-lateral and multi-lateral foreign agencies
• Experience of working with public sector
