Job description:

  • To develop TORs for the CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs, and School Health Club Master trainers and give orientation to them.
  • To select the CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs, Butchers/ Livestock Trader/ Poultry seller and Master trainers.
  • To facilitate the training coordinator/DPMs in trainings module development, training event arrangement and identification/selection of resource persons for training.
  • To develop action plan with CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs and Master Trainers at the end of each trainings.
  • To get monthly feedback about action plan from CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs and Master Trainers and report to DPM.
  • To facilitate the baseline /KAP Studies in selected communities about zoonotic diseases.
  • To build the capacity of the CAHWs, PHWs, LWHs and Master trainers about extension messages and diseases surveillance and reporting mechanism.
  • To attend the PSC and YCF meetings to ensure the delivery of extension messages.
  • To provide technical inputs about zoonotic messages development for walks, sport events and speeches competition.
  • To assist Community Animal Health Workers (CAHWs), PHWs, LHWs and Master trainers to identify needs for solutions.
  • To assist and support the CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs & Master trainers in record keeping of their schedule activities.
  • To develop and ensure the distribution of leaflets, brochures, preventive massages and vaccination cards for vaccination campaign & monitor all CAHWs and Master trainers activities.
  • To develop News articles about the Zoonotic disease, CAHWS, PHWs, LHWs and Master trainers if any.
  • To share initial information regarding report to DPM
  • To strengthen the coordination among PSC, Youth Clubs and ZCC for disease surveillance, reporting and response
  • To submit the field visits reports regarding CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs and Master trainers to DPMs.
  • To share weekly and monthly progress report regarding CAHWs,  PHWs, LHWs and Master trainers to DPMs
  • To develop success stories on CAHWs, PHWs, LHWs and master trainers and diseases surveillance and reporting mechanism.
  • To perform any project relevant task assigned by his/her DPM.

2.      Qualification & Experience required:

The candidate must have at least DVM, MBBS  Degree from any reputed University with 03 years of proven work experience in livestock and public health related project.

Willingness to work in difficult and remote regions.

The candidate must be having the good oral and written communication skills in English/local language.

 Excellent team building skills.

Proficient in MS Office, internet and e. mail.
