Liaise with former TEP staff, partners and stakeholders as part of transition from TEP to PRP;
Implement professional development schedules as noted in work plan and in close coordination with In Service and Pre Service training managers. This will include between 90- 120 days of professional development activities with a variety of faculty members.
Conduct high-quality, professional development activities
Provide regular on-site follow up, support and mentoring for teacher educators in colleges and universities as assigned
Help establish and support professional networks of teacher educators (within and between institutions) to share experiences of learning and teaching and to provide peer support for professional development
Participate in project monitoring and evaluation activities and the collection of data relevant to the project as assigned by the Teacher training Coordinator /the M&E team
Review and provide feedback on the design of professional development activities and materials
Provide feedback on the use/efficacy of B.Ed. curriculum materials and the implementation of the new curriculum
Help identify trainers in provincial government teacher education management institutions and universities to lead the roll out of B.Ed.
Via specific training, coordination, co-preparation and co-facilitation of professional development and on-site support, enhance capacity of provincial government and university master trainers to provide professional development and support the implementation of B.Ed.
Monitor the the quality of professional development activities provided by government and university trainers and provide feedback to Teachers ‘Training Coordinator
