Major Responsibilities:

 

  • To Support the Head of HRD in the development of effective and efficient organizational structure in line with organization strategic objectives.
  • To provide support and information to Management and Employees on policies and procedures as well as staff rules and guideline.
  • Assist HRD in Coordination with heads of Program / or offices to ensure cooperation in the efficient implementation of organization policies and procedures including HRD policies and procedures.
  • Assist HRD in the implementation of the Performance Appraisal Mechanism.
  • To prepare contractual documents (Staff, Consultants, and Partners) for Islamabad, Mansehra, Kohat with support and assistance form HRD team.
  • To assist in maintenance of staff records tracking academic history, employment history, credentials, training etc.
  • To regularly develop and maintain the HRIS module which includes data input, Updating and coordination with Software consultant on system upgrade and its integration with other program as per management request.
  • To carry out recruitment and selection of staff in compliance with organization policy including support to the supervisor for the assessment of new hires.
  • Maintain communication with all organization offices on HR related matters.
  • To Update Operations manual with HRD-Manager.
  • Conducts Internal Audit and follow-ups (ISO) for organization offices with HRD-Manager.
  • Facilitate External Audits (ISO, HAP, Resource Management, Donors etc).
  • Facilitate Orientation; especially expat’s arriving in Islamabad.
  • Facilitate in conducting training and orientations to staff across the board on Organization policies and procedures.

 

 

Skills Required:

 

  • For the post of Assistant Manager HRD a university Bachelors degree or Higher Diploma in Human Resources or any Social Science/Business Administration is required while a minimum 6 years experience in the related field is considered necessary.
  • Relevant technical skill in the area of Human Resources is essential. Good writing and communication skills, computer literate, ability to work independently and ability to take initiatives. Ability and willingness to travel independently and at short notice in the region is required to fulfill the organizational needs
  • Good English & Urdu are essential.
  • The Assistant Manager HRD must be tolerant and sensitive to the needs of religious and ethnic minorities, women and the poor.
  • In the absence of the supervisors, the Assistant Manager HRD must have the confidence, initiative, patience and integrity to work independently. He must also maintain confidentiality and demonstrate neutrality when dealing with HR and internal audit matters.
  • The Assistant Manager HRD is required to follow organization Accountability Framework and its commitment to the Codes of Conduct practiced by the organization. The Assistant Manager HRD will ensure his/her commitment to the organization mission and values and for working in accordance to his/her job expectations
