The Advisor for Community Mobilization will require a combined skill set of community mobilization with experience in school performance and management in Pakistan. Preference should be given to candidates who have successfully implemented community programs in Karachi.  The qualifications for the Advisor for Community Mobilization are:

  • At least ten years experience in the development and implementation of community mobilization programs focused on school-based management.
  • Experience supporting programs that promote girls’ access to schooling.
  • At least a Master’s Degree in education, anthropology or related field.
  • Strong experience in the development of school improvement plans including water/sanitation programming.
  • Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written, to fulfill the technical and managerial responsibilities proposed.
  • Strong English writing and speaking skills; Professional level Urdu/Sindhi preferred.
  • Familiarity with the public and private sector education institutions of Pakistan.
  • Demonstrated Community Mobilization experience.
