DRC is an international non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions for refugees and internally displaced people in more than 30 countries world-wide.

 DRC has established its operation in Pakistan during December 2010 in order to contribute to the flood recovery response, as well as part of a regional program addressing Afghan displacement in close coordination with its programmes in Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan. DRC office in Pakistan is established in Peshawar with operations in five districts ok Khyber Puktunkhwa.

Job Description:

  • Coordinating the Project/Programme tasks with respect to monitoring and evaluation of activities, including the preparation of annual M&E work plans and budgets.
  • Ensuring that M&E data are readily available, as appropriate, to the DRC management, all concern departments and to other stakeholders, particularly on impact and lessons learnt from Project activities
  • Regularly maintain both the project/program output progress matrix and complaint register.
  • Assist in designing baseline, mid-term and final evaluation using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Conducting and/or supervising need based assessment and/or survey implementation, analysis and reporting.
  • Reviewing and providing advice related to log frames and indicators on proposals submitted to the different donors.
  • Contributing to the maintenance and modification of a database of all DRC projects
  • Prepare monitoring, evaluation & accountability plans and ensure implementation at field level.
  • Provide input to the development of knowledge management material such as briefers, human interest stories, case studies, press releases and related material as and when required.
  • Review information, collected through the monitoring process, identify areas of improvement and prepare action agreed plans with relevant departments.
  • Coordinate in the capacity building of project staff on participatory monitoring and evaluation.
  • Promote monitoring and evaluation systems, capacity building and sharing experiences/ learning.
  • Assist project team and partners to plan, review, reflect, learn and re-appraise their work.
  • Generate quality monitoring and project progress and periodic reports as and when desired by DRC-Pakistan management.
  • Investigate the issues at the grass root level received through complaint mechanism of the DRC-Pakistan and coordinate feedback with the complainers.
  • Ensure timely follow up of all visit reports (such as monitoring, coordination, audits, control visits).
  • Always adhere to the DRC Pakistan policies and procedures pertaining to relevant areas of HR, Finance, Program, Accounts, and Administration/ Procurement.
  • Complete additional assignments related to job functions requested and acknowledged by M&E Coordinator and the DRC management.

Education
