Software Engineer(Search and Web
applications)

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the relevant work

Skills required:

• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and clearly hands on as well.
• You should have a github account. Please mention your github account in cover letter.
• Deployment in cloud environment.
• Experience of working on PostgreSql and MySQL database
• Experience of working and designing RESTful applications.
• Excellent problem solving aptitude, personal motivation, an excellent work ethic, and demonstrated ability to work within an organization

 Languages:

• Must have worked in one of the following languages - PHP, JAVA, Javascript or node.js

Job Responsibilities:

• To build the search infrastructure and other web/mobile components of the applications.
• You must have built search infrastructure on lucene or Solr and show be able to show its demo during the interview process.
• Ability to lead the search from design, code, implementation and scaling point of view.
• Develop search relevance solutions such as query classification, ranking, spelling correction, search result diversity, and evaluation framework.
• Designing RESTful applications.

Education:

• Master/Bachelor in Computer Science/Software engineering or similar level education in relevant area.
