Unit: Monitoring, Evaluation & Research
Salary Range: Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 70,000
Job Type: Three Years Renewable Contract
Job Description:
Reporting to General Manager - Monitoring, Evaluation & Research, incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on all project activities, outputs and outcomes at relevant stages of the project life-cycle;
- Gather data through partner reports, field visits, other sources of information, collate and analyze information in relation to outputs and outcome indicators as identified in Results Framework;
- Write up quarterly and annual progress reports and other monitoring reports as required by the project as well as the General Manager (for internal and external audiences)
- Support staff across the organization as well as implementing partners and primary stakeholders on undertaking strong and participatory monitoring across project life cycle;
- Plan for regular opportunities to identify lessons learned and implications for the project next steps as well as exit strategies;
- Guide the regular sharing of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) findings with other members of MER unit, project staff, partners and other stakeholders
- Input into overall organization’s quarterly and annual reports, support M&E implementation and work towards achieving overall goals of MER unit
- Identify opportunities for research and learning;
- Undertake any other actions as assigned by the supervisors
Qualification Required: Minimum of 16 years of education (Bachelors/Master degree) in international development, economics, or relevant field;
Experience Required: Minimum 3-4 years’ experience of implementing development projects, monitoring and evaluation of development projects, including knowledge of logical framework design, outcome and process indicator, analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
Competencies Required: Experience with numerical methods of data analysis is an advantage, Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills, excellent report-writing skills in English & Team Player
Travelling Requirement: The position requires extensive travelling to field in remote areas of Pakistan.
