Job Title:                    Office Assistant (General)     

Reports To:               Manager/Regional Program Manager

Duty Station:           Islamabad, Quetta & Sukkur             

Age Limit:                 30 Years (Females are strongly encouraged to apply)

Job Summary:

  • Maintains office operations by receiving and distributing communications; maintaining supplies and equipment; picking-up and delivering items; serving customers.

Job Description:

  • Maintains workflow by studying methods; and developing reporting procedures.
  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms control, office layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing changes.
  • Develops administrative staff by providing information, and experiential growth opportunities.
  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling administrative projects; expediting work results.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum Qualification FA/F.Sc
  • Minimum working experience of 1 year or less is required at a similar role. Experience of working with International NGOs, donor agencies, or other reputed international development organizations will be a plus.
  • Computer literacy with demonstrated use of word processing, database and presentation software (Word, Excel, Power Point etc).
  • Excellent writing and communications skills in English required. Computer literacy with demonstrated use of word processing, database and presentation software (Word, Excel, Power Point etc).
