Job Title:                Assistant Manager HR

Job Summary & Specific Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The candidate will assume challenging role in Human Resource Department and will assist the HR Manager in day to day functioning of respective department.
Some of the major responsibilities that the Assistant Manager will undertake are:

  • Review all existing job descriptions, assist in drafting JDs of newly created positions and ensure that all JDs are approved by the COP/CEO
  • Assist in the recruitment process and ensure compliance
  • Assist in organizational restructuring
  • Organize consultants’ appointments and ensure their documentation
  • Assist in making a comprehensive orientation plan for new inductions
  • Assist in revising and finalizing HR Policy Manual
  • Oversee the Training & Development agenda of the organization
  • Streamline and maintain leave record of all employees
  • Ensure that all personal files of the staff members are complete and in compliance with the HR policies
  • Maintain CV bank
  • Ensure the timesheets are received and submitted to Accounts in a timely fashion
  • Assist in file management and record keeping
  • Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management  

Qualifications / Experience

  • Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, or any other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum experience of 2 years is required out of which 1 year should be in a similar role. Experience of working with International NGOs, donor agencies, or other reputed international development organizations will be preferred.
  • Computer literacy with demonstrated use of word processing, database and presentation software (Word, Excel, Power Point etc).
  • Excellent writing and communications skills in English required.
