Introduction of ProjectThe Project “Support Social Protection and Decent Work for Brick Kiln Workers and Bonded Laborers in Pakistan” is funded by European Commission/Actionaid. The Project is being implemented in Districts Lahore and Pakpattan by BLLF.The overall objective of the project is to contribute to poverty reduction and social inclusion of informal workers and bonded labourers. The specific objectives are to ensure that 'brick kiln workers have better access to social protection services and more productive employment. Main activities are awareness-raising on the rights, social protection and decent employment; capacity building, advocacy and campaigning; vocational and technical skills training: Advocacy on legal and policy framework; Dialogue with policy makers and employers, Alliance building/networking at district and national level on the rights of labourers working in brick kiln industry. Research into the social protection rights and dissemination of good practices, Providing healthcare, ,legal support to brick kiln workers and educational support to children working on brick kilnsI. Job Summary:Project Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate, support the implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects. Contributing to the cause of Project by providing expertise in overseeing the coordination of project and ensuring timely reporting to donor.II.Major areas of responsibility
